StringsAloud was founded by Mairi Hunter-Barr in 2005. Mairi now has teams based in both Glasgow and Berkshire in South East of England. Mairi regularly plays with both Scottish and Berkshire teams. She is your point of contact for all enquiries and is a skilled music arranger. Mairi has a passion for weddings and coroporate events and along with the girls she will do her utmost to make your event sparkle with the music of StringsAloud.

StringsAloud perform as quartets, trios or a larger string section can be made available for that special event or session recording.
With some of the UK’s most versatile string professionals we can tailor our repertoire to your needs for your event whether that be classical chill out for your wedding ceremony followed by a pop set for your champagne reception or a Scottish themed programme for Burns Supper or corporate event.
